Jonathan Foxman, President and CEO
Jonathan Foxman helped co-found this company in mid 2005 and currently serves as President and CEO. He led the company through its start-up, funding, and the launch of its new GSM/EDGE network. Throughout his career, Foxman has combined an expertise in the financial and operational aspects of wireless communications companies with a commitment to providing a superior service experience in rural communities.
After graduating from the University of Vermont with a BA in English and from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business with an MBA, Foxman led the telecommunications consulting practice of BIA Consulting, Inc., where he helped numerous wireless communications companies, from start-ups to Fortune 1000 companies, including more than a dozen PCS companies, identify opportunities and develop and implement strategies in their core or new lines of business.
Foxman then co-founded SOL Communications, was its first employee, and served as Chief Operating Officer and acting Chief Financial Officer. SOL Communications launched a new GSM network serving more than two million residents in rural South Texas. Prior to Cellular One, he served as President and CEO of Highland Cellular, LLC, a GSM cellular operator serving rural southern West Virginia.
Rosie Serna, EVP and Chief Operating Officer
Rosie Serna is responsible for Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Billing for Cellular One. Throughout her 25 years of finance and customer operations experience, she has served in leadership roles and has focused on making every customer experience a memorable one.
Serna graduated from the University of Texas with a BS in Accounting and from Mountain State University with an MS in Strategic Leadership. She has spent the last 11 years in the wireless industry. While at CenturyTel and SOL Communications, Serna achieved recognition for their call centers for superior customer service and substantially improved performance. Serna also served as Chief Financial Officer for a 6 store retail chain plus 3 RadioShack franchise stores.
Prior to joining Cellular One, she served as Chief Operating Officer for Highland Cellular, LLC where she led their sales, customer service, marketing, human resources, and engineering departments.
Daniel Hopkins, EVP and Chief Financial Officer
Dan Hopkins is responsible for finance, accounting, and operational controls and assurance for Cellular One. Hopkins is an experienced wireless industry executive with nearly 20 years of diversified financial and operational management experience.
After graduating from Temple University with a BS in Finance and Economics and from LaSalle University with an MBA in Accounting and Finance, Hopkins spent ten years in commercial banking with PNC Financial then served as Vice president of Finance and Treasurer for Triton Cellular Partners.
Hopkins joined SunCom Wireless in 1998 as one of its first employees and played a central role in its funding and growth, including managing its financing activities, M&A, and roaming. Over a four year period, SunCom grew from a start-up to reach over $800 million revenues with one million subscribers.
Glen Robinson, CTO and Executive Vice President of Engineering and IT
Glen Robinson is responsible for engineering, operating, and expanding Cellular One’s wireless network and information technology systems. Robinson is an experienced wireless industry executive with over 20 years of experience in the wireless business.
In 1988, after spending ten years in the United States Air Force, Robinson joined the engineering team at Comcast/Metrophone. Robinson then moved to AT&T Wireless where he built and operated their Philadelphia PCS network. In 1998, Robinson joined Triton Cellular Partners as the Chief Technology Officer. Upon the sale of Triton Cellular, he was appointed SVP of Engineering and IT at Suncom.
Most recently, Robinson served as Executive Director of Network for AT&T Mobility’s Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Southern Jersey 2G and 3G wireless networks, where he integrated the AT&T Wireless and Cingular networks into one network .and overlaid the network with 3G HSDPA.
